you can download the drivers for a sound card as this is software. The actual sound card is hardware. Find out the name or type of sound card that is already in your computer and download the drivers from www.downloads.com

Hey friend actually you can't download a soundcard, you can only download the softwares for them only,
When u are not hearing any sound from pc you should first checkup the following
1. Just checkup the speakers whether they are working
2. Unplug and Replug the jacks of the Speakers in the system
3. Go to Control Panel ( If U r Using Windows) See the multimedia properties whether the sound card has been installed properly
4. if all is done, try to increase all the voulmes

A sound card is a piece of hardware. It cannot be downloaded. Software is downloaded. What you can download is the driver for your sound card. Assuming that you had sound before, you should download anf reinstall the driver for your sound. If you have a sound card, go to the manufacturer's web site and download the latest driver for it. If your speakers are plugged into your motherboard, and not a sound card, then go to the motherboard manufactuer's web site and get the latest driver for your sound. If you are not sure what kind of sound card or motherboard that you have, there is a great program called Belarc Advisor that will scan your system and tell you everything about your hardware and software. Most likely, you have a sound card and you need to download a sound card driver, take a look on the back of you computer and see if you have any type of speaker jacks back there, Do you have speakers? Are they turned on? Are they plugged in?

sorry but i think you might mean can you download a device driver for your sound card, if so the answer is yes as long as you know which sound card is installed on your computer.
but you sound card my have had it which means you will have to buy a new one which aren't that dear.

wt do u mean download a sound card? download the driver? you may just go to the website of you sound card. and go to support center or something like that. they usually will have some driver avaliable.
