I think that Louis XVI was a weak ruler. A good part of that has to do with the age he was when he took over the throne. Then you have to see that his grandfather, Louis XV did not really do much to prepare him as to how to rule. Louis XVI really did care about his people, he would not fire on them even when his life and the life of his family were in danger. When he was the prince, him and Marie Antionette both sent their entire incomes to aid people who were victims of a disastar.
But as far as being a leader, he was not very strong. He was easily influenced by his wife and by others as to the decsions he made. I don't think that he was a terrible man, I just think that had he had the proper guidance, he would have been a better ruler. Maybe his life would have ended diffrently too.

I think Louis XVI was not a good nor divine ruler, can a good and divine ruler being execute by his people? I don't think so.

Probably yes since it was Jacques-Benigne Bossuet, the French bishop and theologian who most clearly articulated the concept was in the court of Louis XIV.
