What is it with the americans? You've got no idea about quality sports, you have the NFL which i cant get my head around....American football aint football get it? football is played with the feet not the hands!! you pick up the ball throw it and run with it, how is that football? It's more like rugby with padding. I've only ever seen shoulder pads on Dallas Falcons crest and American football!!!

Thats probably because you promote American football (rugby with gay padding) at colleges and schools. Is anyone making you watch American football or baseball? If you don't like it, go watch a football match. I've gotta run now, I have a fantasy football and basketball team to manage. And I need to go buy some snacks for my football party this weekend!! :-)

American football was basically played like rugby. After several deaths, they added the forward pass in the hopes that it would cut down on the number of deaths. Equipment was added for safety and still people die in American football, even today. If you want to have the feeling of being hit by a professional football player, have somebody on a motor bike hit you going 20 KPH 30 times which is about how many blows a guy takes a game. If you are still walking, have him hit you another 450 times to represent one season (and that doesn't include practice and play offs). Now if you are still alive, have him drop the speed to 15 KPH and have him hit you another 1,200 times like that representing the blows from college football. Get him on a bicycle going 10 KPH and have him hit you another 1,200 times respresenting high school football. Now if you survive all that in one piece and still feel you don't need padding, then you can talk. I think you'll end up in a body cast and be in a coma if you aren't killed.
Very few rugby players make it to the NFL, just because the are too small and too slow.

I would like to help you. I'll try to get Americans to stop watching and playing English sports if you can get the English to stop playing The only true American sport of basketball. And by the way we Americans are English the only difference is that you guys laid down in the Revolutionary war or did you not learn history in school.
