Well, they've been on a slide of late. I still think they'll do good things this year. They're healthy (for the most part) and Jerry Sloan is one of the best coaches in basketball. What they lacked last year was health and perimeter play. With the return of Boozer and the emergence of Deron Williams, things are looking bright.

That being said, I don't think they can be considered a contender at this point, because that can't really be determined by one hot streak.

Big key was health. Okur and Boozer have been healthy to start the season and we could see it from Utah's supreme rebounding over its opponents.

Another key was Deron Williams. Guy has proven CP3 is not the only good PG to come out of the draft. Great clutch player, and that is really rare. He has that sense of leadership too, that was lacking from last year. I suppose he's the next Kidd.

Those are the two main factors. AK47 hasn't been able to shine through the last couple of games, and hasn't been a factor in wins too. A trade would be good for this team, since he has been struggling with injuries and is not all that consistent.

I see them winning 50+ games, but wont get far past the second round. Playoffs is about experience, and these are young guys who clearly lack experience. And the fact that they belong to a conference with the Suns, Spurs, Rockets, and Mavs wont certainly help.

The Jazz are playing excellent team basketball. Their success has a lot to do with the play of 2nd year PG Deron Williams. The guy has doubled his assists per game, to 9, and his scoring is up almost six points, to almost 17. Add that to Boozer, Harping, and Okur's solid play and you have plenty of scoring. Additionally, AK47 is just becoming healthy, so his addition to a defense that is already holding opponents under 100 pts. per game should only lead to positive results.

It should be noted that Phoenix, Dallas, and Sacramento all got off to horrible starts and have been emerging lately, which will certainly slow down Utah. Utah should make the playoff, but they don't have the experience to break out of the first round.

They are playing well right now, I still dont think they are good enough to win it all or go all that far in the playoffs but if they keep it up, anything is possible

Yes the Jazz are for real and they can win the title with this team as long they stay healthy. I would think that Carlos Boozer is really an MVP candidate at least if i could vote then he would have it.

They'll most likely to make the playoff if they keep on winning like they are and avoid lead players on the other team to takeover a game.

I think they will be out 2nd round. Kobe torched them last night.

The real team I think is most improved are the Magic, best record in East (as of Dec. 1 of course)
