Global warming is essentially a warming cycle of the Earth. The temperatures everywhere go up (that's the most basic explanation, but it's more complicated than that). Some people will say that it is a direct result of pollution and the way humans are destroying the environment, but that simply isn't true. If you look at the history of the earth (through rock samples and ice samples), you'll see that the earth goes through warming cycles on a normal basis. It warms up for a little while and then cools off for a little while (we're talking thousands of years). The thing that has people worried is that the planet is warming up faster than it ever has before. Geologists are excited about this because they're trying to figure out why the planet is doing this. Everyone else that isn't educated on the matter is quick to point the finger and throw blame over a concept they don't really understand.

All the science stuff they said up there is "true" or at least what is believed. I personally dont buy it myself, if its happening its not showing any signs yet like water actually rising messurably or anywhere having higher temperature averages. Every summer where I live, we get a coupe weeks where its brutally hot... upper 90s into the 100s and people start talking about Global Warming, but they stop as soon as winter hits and we have weeks at record low temps. I think really its a way to scare people into buying new things. However, I wouldnt mind if the beach got closer and PA had Florida like temps :)

Global warming starts when carbon dioxide from fires and pollution destroys the ozone layer of the earth, and the suns rays have a more powerful effect on our planet. The ozone layer protects the planet partially from the suns rays. Without it the earths temperature will continue rising over many years, and eventually killing of species and eventually humans, if there isn't anything done to prevent/stop it.

Global warming is the result of the green house effect, Im sure you know what it is. So in a year, in 10 years, in 1000 years (in fact noone knows for sure) all ice will melt and flood everything...Well. a kind of doomsday.=)) Its only a theory, so dont worry.

It's f*ckin BS, don't worry about it. Just people trying to scare you. Ask a weather man he'll tell you the truth.
