I would easily if I didn't feel like cooking, just to get some exercise and take a night off from the dishes. Especially if I had no clue what to make. A half mile isn't that far, and there are some great restaurants nearby.

Now, it depends if the weather is bad. Then I wouldn't.

It would depend on my mood. But a half a mile isn't far at ALL.

Yes it's true Americans are lazy and often obese. But, in this situation, it isn't because they'd rather have the fast food, but because they think half a mile is too far.

I also like cooking though. If i had the right food in the house i'd rather make it.

Certainly not me.

I think it would take a pretty sad, pathetic and lazy person to want to walk a half mile to get junk food, than to take the time and effort to cook themselves a healthy meal.

A slob like that would be lucky to make it to the restaurant before dropping over of a heart attack trying to get there.

I walked 3 miles to Sonic yesterday, but that was just because the only thing we had at home was peanut butter and macaroni and cheese from last year and plus I figured I would work it off walking 6 miles.
