I have had two before... either that or I had miscarriages. I would test positive and then a day or two later I would start my period. I just want to see how common this is.

Yes, I've had a false positive before and gotten' my period a couple days after that. I went to the doctor nothing was wrong. But then again every body is different. Go see a doctor to be in the safe side!

I forgot what it is called, but there is a disease that will give a false pregnancy result. In fact, they will give men a pregnancy test to check for this disease. You might want to see your doctor, if you are not pregnant it might be some type of illness. MAYBE it might be something in your diet that is affecting the acidity in your urine, but I'm not sure if that would give a false positive or not.

a pregnancy test checks for the hormone HCG, usually the only time women have HCG is when they are pregnant, that hormone is what make our body change... but, sometimes you can have hcg still left inside of you even if you've had a miscarrage, after a while it leaves, but you could have been pregnant and lost it without even relizing it in the beginning, like withing the first 2 weeks.. and thats probly the hormones left

it's very uncommon. It's more likely that you had what they call a chemical pregnancy, the egg was fertilized but never implanted properly. It will cause a positive pregnancy test but isn't viable.

You more than likely had a chemical pregnancy. This is when the egg and sperm fuse together but dont implant. If this continues to happen (and you want to become pregnant) you may want to see your OBGYN to see if you have any issues with your vaginal linining that would prohibit implantation.
