I feed the Racoons but not on purpose they eat my garbage. They also tried eating my Jack-O-Lanterns

I live right on a lake, so I've got gobs of birds and squirrels. I give them old cereal and crackers and chips, and when my bread gets old I toast it up and toss it out my door. Plain popcorn (no salt, no butter) is good too. I also take pine cones and smear peanut butter all over them and stick those on a piece of wood with a nail on it, to hold the pine cone upright. Squirrels love 'em. We also throw out peanuts...peanuts have a lot of protein and oils that little animals need to stay healthy and "fat" during the winter.

So yes, I do feed the animals that live outside my house...invariably, though, I end up feeding crows and raccoons and possums and that stupid stray cat that keeps having kittens in our workshop, but at least the food isn't going to waste.

yep, but i can't stand it when people leave their animals tied up when it's wet and freezing outside. i mean, if you're not going to bring them inside, then at least untie them so they can find a some place warm. sorry, i just had to get that out. :)
