i'm sorry if i offend anyone but i really hate them, they're songs have no meaning, they can't sing or play and theres more important stuff to be singing about. so why does everyone like them? again, sorry if offend anyone....

No your not offending me. Not everyone has the same tastes. :)
I do find meaning in some of their songs. (Not all) Not everyone gets it though. My sis-in-law thinks I'm crazy but hey..maybe I am.
I totally disagree with you on saying they can't sing or play. I think Gerard has an amazing voice. Although some of their old shows he really blew (he was probably drunk then) but the new ones, really rock. I also think Ray is an amazing guitarist.
But like I said, we all have our opinions. That's what makes the world so great. And I'm not one to disrespect someone for having an opinion other than mine. :)

I'm pretty sure there are people about that would hate that music...so why the hell do you need to offend bands that other people like...
We're not forcing it on you. We're not tying you to a chair and making you listen to it...are we? So shut the hell up and keep your whinny comments to yourself!

Also. Their songs do have meanings. If you'd actually researched before you posted this "question" you would have found out alot.
Their second album - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge - was about their grandmother, who had only just passed away...
Also, "I'm not okay" is about their high school years.
Obviously they can sing and play their instruments...otherwise they wouldn't have gotten a record deal.

Music is like paintings. Some people like DaVinci, some people like Van Goh, and some people like Monet. Some people look at Monet and wonder why it's all blurry. Some people look at Van Goh and wonder if it's hanging upside down. And still other people look at DaVinci and think it's too plain.
So while you may not like My Chemical Romance. There is probably music you do like which others don't. Isn't it great that we have have so much genre of music to choose from?

I personally love them. They are my favorite band, and if you took the time to listen to their songs closely, you would know that each and every one of their songs has meaning. They reach out to a lot of people (including me!) and I think that they changed the world of rock music! They are amazing musicians also and Gerard's voice is also amazing. They play amazing music which is full of awesome guitar solos, bass, and drums, and even piano. If you don't want to believe in them, then that's your problem, hun.

my chemical romance is an amazing band!
their songs don't have meaning to those who are too SHALLOW to understand them
my chemical romances music is meant to reach out to those who's hearts are broken.. and i think their music has soo much meaning if you really open up your heart and mind and listen
i love my chemical romance and they are the force that keeps me going each day

It's just personal opinion. I like their older stuff but don't really like their newer stuff. I like their music because they have good lyrics and I enjoy their instrumental work as well.

I honestly never really heard them, but I feel the same way about rappers like 50 cent, or bow wow, Chingy and Nelly,
