We did a gift basket a couple of years ago for my husband's parents. It was a 'Coffee Theme'. We bought them some nice coffee cups and a half-dozen samples of gourmet coffees. We also added in some of those Piroette cookies.

Hershey's has some Christmas chocolate ideas, you can browse them at their website. My personal favorite is a personalized chocolate bar card (about $20 if I recall). That would just be really different, I think, to get.
Otherwise, do you have a Cost Plus World Market anywhere near you? That is, hands down, the best place to put together gift baskets. You can find a bunch of interesting international foods and candy. They also have some fairly inexpensive jewelry that comes from around the world, and home decoratives, containers, baskets, etc. It's a very fun place.

Add a bottle of their favorite beverage (wine, beer, champagne, etc.) to each, little gourmet candies sprinkled about, a few slices or a half of a cake wrapped in pretty cellophane next to the beverage, little cheeses and some cracker packages, cans of tiny sausages. 2 candles with holders, 2 cloth napkins covering everything on top and a big bow.

What kinds of things is your husband into? My ex-husband was into fishing, so once for Christmas I got him a dozen new lures and some other fishing related stuff and made him a basket like that, and ties the whole thing up with a ribbon that had fish on it. For my dad, who is into John Deere tractors, me and my husband bought him 4 coffee cups with different designs, and 4 collectible J.D. tins and gave them to him. I think his whole gift was $20.00, and he's showed it to everybody.
Just go with what they like. You can't go wrong!!

1. Get some things for your husband(and you) to use in more private moments, that way you both benefit.
2. Get your parents things like travel items like gas cards, gift cards, coupon booklets, just things that can help them and get away after the holidays and relax. Holidays can be stressful.

I hope you're not being too cheap with your closet family. I mean, your husband? And--you don't know what to get for him? jesus, have you met the guy? do you share his bed? buy him new underwear, guys hate that. a gift basket of new underwear, different syles, brands, colors...and sizes, for when he gains/looses weight. He'll think you're his mother.
then, for your parents, get them a naughty game to play together. and the accessories they will need to go with it. lingere, banana, silk scarf, chocolate-all from the dollar store to. they will be so excited, though they might act shocked.
good luck.
i hate christmas.

for you husband get some sexy and skimpy underwear and for your parents get them something that they have in common, like cheese and crackers, or if they like coffee but can't have caffine, find an assortment of decaf coffees and get them each a cute christmas mug.
