Wonder man (Simon Williams) is one of the heavy hitters. He is at least in the Thing's class, maybe in Thor's class. I suspect that Captain Marvel is a little stronger. But, besides that, Simon depends on belt jets to fly, which Billy Batson does not. Also, Cap has the wisdom of Solomon, which trait Simon has noticeably been lacking in the past. So, fo rme, it all comes down to the intangibles. Not necessarily who is more powerful (though I think that Captain Marvel is) but who is able to use thier powers in the more clever way.

Which Captain Marvel? The Fawcett comics one or one of the half-dozen Marvel Comics ones?

again, if we go with the strength of DC characters versus the strength of marvel characters, capt marvel would whoop him good... or, say we decide to go with the fact that cap has the strength of hercules, and in the marvel universe hercules is about class 90 (able to press 90 tons), and wonderman is only able to press 40 tons, i still have to go with the captain... might be a good fight though...
