well its about55 and falling in Ohio and winds are gusting to 60+ I have 3 trees down along the fence in pasture,so I got firewood now!!the wind picks out the sick and rotten ones!! sounds like a jet plane is passing over the house!!!

It all depends where you are on Beaufort scale. 70 MPH is a little high for my enjoyment. I do agree with you that a change in the weather is more interesting. There's something about 82 degrees and sunny for three months at a time that's just plain
boring!

I think high winds are scarey because trees,,road signs & such can fall & kill you.I do love thunder tho.
