I'm wanting to switch to Arbonne foundation because it is supposed to be healthier for the skin, but I don't know which shade is the closest to Mary Kay's lightest shade of ivory.

I have the Arbonne sample palettes, because I'm an Arbonne Consultant. Congrats on switching to the absolute best make up and skin care line out there!
Our most comparable shade match would be 1c. That shade applies to any of the 3 types of Arbonne base: mineral powder, wand, or liquid.
If you want to order online you can at http://www.arbonne.com. You'll need a consultant ID, mine is 16459642.
If you are totally switching to Arbonne products you can save a bunch by buying wholesale. You get 35% off, and no minimum order requirements.
e-mail me for more info at loridori4@sbcglobal.net
Hope my answer helps!

I am taught to never degrade other products, but I also never say either of the "A" words. As a Mary Kay consultant I have been asked this sort of question in the past, and when I contacted my company about the validity of Arbonne being any better they stated that we (MK) are a premeir cosmetic line meaning that we are in the highest rated category of cosmetics out there. That means that nothing can be better, maybe equal to, but not better. We are even rated above many of the department stores. What I also question is, if you are thinking of switching, I would assume that one of their consultants has spoken with you and yet they can't tell you what shade to wear? That doesn't seem like very good customer service. Always know that there are also several types of MK foundation, not just the medium and full coverage.
