First if you have a Bible read Genesis 11:1-9. Then reverse the order of numbers to get 9-1-1-1. Or we could say 9/11/01. What is the chance that this is just random chance? What is the chance that it's intelligent design? I need intelligent answers not sarcasm.

Steve you are writing a book on intelligent design and you don't see the parallel between the "Tower of Babel" and the "Twin Towers" The whole "World one language" the "World Trade Center". I don't think your book book is going to be too intelligent if you can't see this simple design. And as far as the other response verse 9 is the end of the Tower story. In some Bibles it is even on page 9 11:1-9 That is 3 1's between two 9's total of three Towers. Intelligent design! The odds Billion to 1!

The current division of the Bible into chapters and the verse numbers within the chapters have no basis in any ancient textual tradition. Rather, they are medieval Christian inventions.

First of all i do not see what the story of the tower of babel has to with the twin towers????
Second there is an area of math that deals with your question. This branch of math asks questions like: if you start dropping coins on to the floor, how many coins do you have to drop before you see a specific pattern. If you looking for a triangle then the answer is three, but if your looking for a dinosaur then the answer is actually a lot more complicated. It turns out that then number of coins needed for a complex image (like a dinosaur) depends heavily of how "fuzzy" you image can be. The fuzzier the image the fewer coins you need.
In your case you are looking for some connection in the bible between the numbers 9/11/2001 and a plane crashing into the twin towers. In order to see that connection you have allowed for a very fuzzy image. You found the numbers 9,11,1 but they are reversed and your missing 200. Connected with those numbers is some mention of a tower.
So if you want a scientific answer then you have to ask your self are you seeing a dinosaur clearly, or were you looking for a dinosaur and found a blurry image that if you squint kind of looks like a dinosaur. And then you have to ask the question, did you drop enough coins so that no matter what you will always find some image that looks like a "fuzzy" dinosaur.
There is also a second question you have to ask. Lets say you determine that this was not random chance. Then how do you know that somebody didn't read this passage, see the connection, and then decide to crash into the towers on 9/11/2001 because of the passage.

This is pure chance. You can play with numbers all day and come up with thousands of interesting coincidences. What does 911 have to do with The tower of Bable and why would god write it backwards. i am currently writing a book on Intelligent Design which I believe in but this is not an example.

You'll get sarcastic answers because this is a dumb question. If you read genesis 11:1-10, then you'd get 10/11/01...Coincidence?
If you read genesis 12:1-6 you'd get 6/12/01...Where's the coincidence?
