I got praised at my old job by my boss for managing to manipulate the other staff members to phone up a particularly horrible company for me any time we needed another order. After he sussed out what I was doing though he made me phone them myself ................ my boss had a weird sense of humour!

I spend hours designing something (vouchers for example) on the computer with a program I know virtually nothing about.
Boss says "It's great...........but we'll go with my idea that I designed"

no much as my boss believes that it is better to be critiscised and learn from it than be spoilt by praise with makes you lathergic in work
