Hlaing Thar Yar, Myanmar - Chicken-seller Thin Sandarin had always dreamt of being a man.
When she inexplicably grew a penis last month, the 21-year-old treated it as an awe-inspiring omen - as have the thousands of stunned villagers who have travelled to a pagoda to see him.
"On the morning of the full moon day of June 21, I noticed my thing (sex organ) was not the same as before," Thin Sandar, who now goes by the male name Than Sein, said on Wednesday.
"And my breasts disappeared," Than Sein added. "So I called out and showed it all to my mom and dad. It was very strange."
Experts have examined him, and he awaits test results from a women's hospital. - Sapa-AFP.

Could be that he always had this borderline hormone thing, and his (her?) emotional balance may have been reflected in the eventual physical manifestation, as part of the symptom, not the cause. Or a hoax. Or maybe he/she is a mutant?

I do believe you...maybe you are right ...BUT NOT EXACTLY...
there are abnormaalities which can happen in the growth and development of a human...
maybe its a genetic defect or a case of "hermaphodite" or "intersex" !
The abnormalities maybe related to chromosomes, hormones, gonads, reproductive organs, and external genitals. There are over 70 different documented intersex conditions.

by wishing and hoping I guess, but not probable.Gender is determined at birth. In all probability she was or has always been a hemaphradite,(check spelling) mayby in a moment of excitement the organ engorged and she finally noticed it.

sex change "...but I want to do it the natural way first..." um, good luck "...may require surgery, and pills..." which is not natural "I am a woman..." you have a vagina, not a penis " I'm desperate for a penis" then... cut one off a guy and duct tape it to your groin or have a sex change
