I was around when this phrase came to be and it was true to me at the time. Now I am much older and no longer trust anyone under 30.

I couldn't have said it better than Levi. I was around too when this phrase was initiated & I believed it then. I've learned by now that we were wrong about that....& now as a general rule, it really is had to trust those under 30. (There are many fine & notable exceptions to that though that I am proud to know and to call friends.)

It must not be true cause i have never heard that before. I don't see what age would have to do with not trusting someone. It just depends on if the person is Trustworthy, no matter the age!
Trust me on this one.....lol

First of all I have never heard of this and who is "they" anyway? If true that is scary bec I will be 30 next Feb. and I still think I could be trusted lol. Just give us a chance hehehe.

More like don't trust anyone over 40. People up to the age of 40 are cool with me.

Mid- twentys so I wouldn't know, but I would think trusting has more to do with what kind of person, not what person's age is.

No,,Id say dont give anyone 100% trust.I used to think everyone is my friend til they prove me wrong,,in todays day & age ,,dont trust anyone until they prove you right.Im in my 40's.
