electric mirror on that side dosent work either.

faulty wiring or a fuse even? Get it checked out as your car is vulnerable without it been locked!

Could be the battery in the locking unit and a faulty motor on the mirror system.

Possibly a bad earth or you could have some of the contacts on the multi plug that are dirty or corroded, that happened on my Astra, if it is corrosion then you will need some one who is good at electrics and DIY because if you take it to a garage it will cost a bomb

You'll probably have to remove the door panel and check the harness and switches that are in the door. It's possible that the
harness is loose. Your car may also have a switch pod that holds
the switches the connector may be loose or you may have to replace the pod.
