Why do people watch MTV? There is virtually NO music on it anymore, and when there is, it's awful.

i say take it off. there is no music anymore expect for mainstream crap which i personally flow against most of the time. also the programs are cheap money making pieces of crap on wheels. "yo mamma" for example is a show about telling a certian kind of joke. i dont really understand how this is entertainment.

I don't know. I haven't watched it in a while. The only MTV related show worth watching anymore is Subterranean on MTV2. It's all underground videos, but it only comes on once a week (Mondays at 1 in the morning)

They made MTV2 for the music.... oh wait, that has tons of shows now, too. I like a lot of VH1's shows. The MTV shows are more like train wrecks than quality programming. And yet, I love Parental Control.

You are 100% correct. MTV sucks and so does MTV2. Whoever runs it should be shot. Its called Music Television!! No videos on 2 channels. Just stupid reality shows. FUSE is 100% better...

I agree. I think that MTV is horrible and stupid. There is no music on anymore except bad stuff. All the shows they have are basically TRASH.

thats exactly why I do ont watch mtv. there are no videos on it. and TRL is a joke. and the only music they DO play has been corrupted by teeny boppers. also why I do not listen to the radio. the only "MTV" I watch is MTVU and OCCASIONALLY MTV2.....for the same reason the person above me said "subterranean"

They put MTV on my satellite dish package (I'm Canadian) and I wish they would take it off. It completely sucks. I'll take MuchMusic over MTV any day. The only reason I would ever watch MTV is if they would put "Daria" back on, but they haven't...

I actually will not drink out of a soda can. It is a quirk I have. I wipe off the top, pop it and pour it into a glass of ice. If I don't have a glass of ice available......I don't have a soda.

i agree, its because america is corrupting our younger kids. most kids now watch MTV when there 12 and 13 and thats nt tv for some1 that young all they wanna do is dress like the lil skanks on there or b lil gangsta. its pathetic
