I was also scared shitless by one episode of the X-files. it was the one with the peacock family, a bunch of inbred freaks who broke into the sheriffs house and killed him. i lived in a small town much like the one in the show and thought they were gonna get me. i always made sure the doors were locked before i went to bed. hell i even had escape routes and hiding spots planned. ah yes silly childhood fears.
