Because Jesus is the most wrote about person in the world. Not only that he rose again from the dead. And dwells in the hearts of believers.
War isn't something many people believe in. When the governement blames terrorist for 911 then we become a scared society ready to give up everything for saftey and protection..

I don't think humankind is. Only really sick people enjoy the idea of solving conflict by war. It should be a means of last resort, when dialogue fails. And most people on this planet don't easily believe in Jesus if you are writing about him as the Son of God. First you must accept the idea that GOD loves people. Second, you must accept the idea that his love is so overwhelming that he took on human form so he could experience what it was like to be human. Third, you must believe that he was willing to subordinate himself to Satan by dying on a cross and descending into hell. And fourth that he overcame death to clear a path to eternal life for us. That is an enormous amount of belief for most people in the world. And that is why Christianity is based on "faith" not the accumulation of good deeds.

We humans hunger to believe that we are not alone in the universe...that we came from some greater power(Jesus). And we look for purpose in our lives through this power. This is also the motivation for War...we believe that we can change things ...and when a country is oppressed we dive in to strong handle them into submission. I don't believe this is always appropriate but it is our history

It's easy to believe in War... it happens all around us.... some people find it easy to believe in Jesus as well ... but then some folks still believe in Santa as well

Ask Hirohito - (of course you would be asking in Japanese.)
Ask Stalin - (of course you would be asking in Russian)
Ask Hitler - (of course you would be asking in German)
If you believe in anything - someone will try to destroy your belief.
If you strongly believe in anything, you will defend it against those that wish to take it from you. Or you become submissive and roll over.
Jesus ???
Doubt anyone is "easily led" to believe in someone you have never seen. It is not easy - it is faith.
Much easier NOT to believe in Him.
