Because UN,UK and US decided that the Arabs have too much land so losing a country is not a big deal and the Jews suffered enough during WW2 so they must have a homeland...of course no one cared that there were people living there for centuries and bringing Jews there would mean that millions of people would be displaced...They needed a non-Arab country in the region to better control the oil resources...

The same reason the American Indians can't get their land back, the same reason the Carthaginians can't get theirs back, the same reason that the Phoenicians can't get theirs back. It was taken by force, and the nations that currently have power are not interested in giving back anything. Nations rise and nations fall, Palestinians never really became a nation before they were totally subjugated.
No one is even talking about 1948 these days, the talk doesn't even go back to the 1967 borders. There is no talk about UN resolution 242 or 338, at least not in the United States.
Israel is the only nation today that does not have declared borders... could that be because it is not done "settling" Palestine. Have you heard the jingo "A people (Israelis) for a country (Palestine) without a people" Its as if the Palestinians do not exist.
War is still being waged against the remaining Palestinians, and it will not abate any time soon.
There were 750,000 Palestinians driven from their homes in 1948 and the few years before. They didn't just decide to voluntarily leave.
The proposal of a two state solution is just a means to finishing the job that was started in the late 1800's and continued with 1948.
By the way, while Israel is claimed to be the only democracy in the Middle East, why is it that Israelis don't want one state democratically ruled? There are more Arabs and it would not be a Jewish State.
It is dog eat dog.

The decision to create Israel may have been wrong because it affected those living in the region; however, to kick all of the Jews out now would also be wrong.
As the land has changed hands so many times, there is no way to sort out who is more wrong, any decision harms someone.
The Jews have shown they can run a successful government, unlike most Arab nations, which will only attack neighbors who attack it. Arabs in Israel have a vote, as demonstrated by the 20% of the Knesset that is Arab. Israel has been excessive against Palestine and needs to stop.
The problem is the extreme militants in BOTH Israel and Palestine who have gone nuts anytime peace may occur. Most Israelis and Palestinians could live together except for the few.
The solution is a better education system in ALL arab countries and Israel. All sides need to stop teaching their children that Jews or Arabs are the root of all evil. They need to accept responsibility for the problems in their country. Israel did NOT cause problems in Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Egypt, Lebanon, or any state other than Palestine. Palestine would be fine, Israel gives them a lot of money, if they could elect an honest government and stop committing violence.
Israel only returns to the Gaza because militants keep firing rockets from within Gaza. Israel is in a no win situation, if they do not attack Gaza they get shelled if they do attack they get shelled and bad press. Israel would be better off if there were not stories of Soldiers humiliating Palestinians, so they are also to blame.
Palestine can have its own state, as soon as they stop declaring that Israel needs eradication and stop attacking Israel. When that happens, the US and many Israelis will pressure Israel to stop incursions into Palestine and they will accept a Palestinian state.

Their land was incorporated into Israel at the end of WWII.
Previously that land did not belong to any country, except it was loosely bound to the disintegrating Ottoman Empire, which is now Turkey.
About 300,00 Palestinians left from either fear or dislike of the Jews, but were not accepted by other Arabs.
In the meanwhile, about 6,000,000 Jews from the surrounding Arab countries have had their property confiscated and have been forced to move to Israel with no compensation.
Since the surrounding Arab countries are so huge in relation to small Israel it would seem fair and make sense to me that they welcome the Palestinians into their lands.
The problem with that solution is that anytime Palestinians have ever moved anywhere, for example, Jordan, Tunis, Lebanon, they have brought war, crime and terrorism with them.
When the Palestinians went to Jordan, they tried to kill the King and take over the country.
No easy solution to this, and blaming Israel is not exactly fair either.

A large number of Palestinians actually abandoned their homeland in anticipation of their Arab allies destruction of the Jews. They thought that after the Arab alliance killed the Jews, they would be free to return and even claim the Jewish part of the territory as their own, thus expanding their own lands.
Unfortunately for the Palestinians, fortunately for the Jews, the Jews won the war and enveloped the land.

Their never was a Palistinian state, it was owned by Turkey, then the British, then it was controlled Isreal, Jordan, and Egypt. Not to mention the Palistinians were not forced to leave they left on their own accord, and now they have complete control over the West Bank and Gaza strip.

The same reason an equal number of Jews who were evicted from their homes in Arab lands cannot return.
If the Palestinians have a 'right of return' don't the Jews have the same right?

There was no Palestinian country. It was Egypt and Jordan.
There was a war. When war happens, land is taken away, that is just how it always works
