nope. your body starts changing right away. itchy breasts and belly are very common, all throughout pregnancy. if at some point during pregnancy you develope severe and persistant itch, all over your body, you will need to tell your OB, as it can be a sign of a serious kidney problem.

Completely normal!! As a matter of fact, it is an inside joke with me and my friends that 'Gina's Itchy!'. .. Gina was only a month pregnant and we were all sitting around talking while gina was itching her arms, nose, boobs, tummy. Finially someone said something, we were all kind of laughing, and Gina said "I"M JUST SO ITCHY!"
Oh yeah. It's a pregnant thing.
Congrats!!!!!

It's not too early amd yes it is okay, that is just the skin on your boobs and stomach trying to stretch. Go to a store and buy some lotion and soap with moisturizers in it to keep on them. I buy Johnsons baby lotion (bed & bath) or doves cool moisure soap.It helps alot. Hope I answered what you wanted to know.

The itching is caused by the skin stretching to get bigger. Use cocoa butter lotion. It works!!! Good luck, you have 8 more months of this and other crazy stuff to go!

welcome to the club! slather it on...that palmers cocoa butter works, but the smell isn't really appealing me and it leaves my skin feeling kind of I don't know, it doesn't seem to seep into the skin and leave it soft. I use Neutrgena unscented body lotion, always have, because it works best for me, so I just slather it on a.m. and p.m. Oatmeal baths work well too, though the smell isn't realy appealing either.

That would be the wonderful change in your hormones during pregnancy. Congrats! By the way if it is really bothersome, ask your doctor about it they can give you ideas of how to alleviate it.

it just means your skin is stretching, try using Palmer's cocoa butter for stretch marks... it may not prevent stretch marks without using it religiously, but it will infact get rid of the icthy-ness :)
