Why do people find it difficult to work for their money?

Why it is everyone thinks they can start a business on the internet and magically make millions? The truth of the matter is you must work smart and hard for your money.
Is there anyone out there that still believes in themselves enough to make money the old fashion way? I see a great many people looking for work and big paydays but do not want to place substantive effort into it. Is there anyone out there who wants to make serious money for serious effort?

A lot of people have been led to believe there are magical answers that will give them millions of dollars for no work or time committment. Instant lotteries, casinos, reality shows that reward stupidity or mediocrity all give people the impression they just need to find that one little thing they can do and it will result in huge payoffs in terms of money and fame.

Ironically, many people spend as much effort on looking for the next "get rich quick" scam than they do on actually making any real process work for them.

But there will always be people who will be willing to put in the work to make money for themselves. These types of people, though, usually don't buy into the time- and money-wasting activities of the scams listed above. They know that real change and success are achieved through effort, and there will be no results without effort.

As time goes on and things become easier for people, they become lazier. Along with that are looking to make a quick $ with the least amount of work required. Why people fall for the scam I have now idea, but I think they are just looking of the easy way out.
