the most famous beaver shot was in Basic Instinct when Sharon Stone uncrossed her legs and she wasn't wearing any underwear.
Not sure why it's called a beaver. lol

I was wondering when someone was going to ask...
In the earlier days of photojournalism and news gathering by reporters, at accident scenes and other places where bodies and victims were thrown clear or died in various undignified positions, it was considered professional courtesy to advise the news photographers arriving at the scene that there were women in an exposed state or with their legs open, so as to both afford the victim(s) some last dignity and not be photographed in that state. That and the fact female reporters would be on-scene as well enabled the news crews to be prepared for the view they were about to get ..of the "beaver." It was customary to relay the comment, "beaver shot" to any news colleagues arriving.. Hence we refer to the friendly litle furry animal as such..cute, eh..
Certainly is a little more nicer than some of the terms we use for it.. Now Regarding this Britney "thing".. I'm not sure if its a "beaver shot" once the little creature has had its fur removed........(smiling)

Have you ever seen a beaver (the animal?) Google one, look at it, and think really hard about it.
Also, Primus wrote a great song called Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. Listen to it for entertainment.

Beaver shot...camera men under stadiums would film up womens skirt and the code was Beaver Shot to let all the dirty men know to come and look.

Honestly feel kind of odd trying to answer this one.
Beaver shot is referring to the female genital area. Why they call it that I can not say for sure, maybe it is due to the shape of the area and shape of beavers head. Depending on how (she) maintains the area.
LOL side thought maybe it is slang about Morning wood. ya know Beavers and wood. ahh well thats my 2 cents.

A "beaver shot" is a photograph of a beaver.
Or it could be when you shoot your gun at a beaver.
