I tripped over a laundry basket in the dark last night and landed right on my chin. It hurts so bad but it didn't bruise. I put ice on it for a while but it is really hot and still throbbing and its been 7 hours since it happened. I took some extra strength tylonol but it didn't do much good. Should I go to a doctor?

Yes, anything that has bone in it can have a break or a fracture. You should see a doctor. I would also see a dentist as well. ASAP.

In the meantime, you could try some ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin are ibuprofen). These are anti-inflammatories and will help a little with the pain, better than Tylenol. Some people like Aleve as well. Either one is good. Best wishes.

your chin is the center point of your lower jaw, if you can still speak eat and drink, you very likely did not break it, you only bruised it badly. Keep using ice, twenty minutes every hour, take Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation.

Yes, you can break your chin! (It's made of bone) Go to a doctor and have it x-rayed.
