U2 elevation tour. I was so crazy about gettting a good ticket on the floor (right behind GA) that I bought the only one ticket I could get my hands on and sat by myself, next to a group of old irish men wearing kilts (this was in NYC) well lucky me the other single seat on that row belonged to a hot guy!! I approached him (since he was alone too) and said you stole my other ticket!!! He had bought his ticket 5 minutes before the concert from some scalper. So of course we made out, drank heineken, screamed and danced to U2. It was greatt!! We even went out to eat after (although we were both trashed like sailors). And even better, this all happened as my friends watched through their binoculars from the nosebleeds!

I always enjoy telling people that out of all the concerts I've been to...multiple DMB shows, Phish, 311, HFStivals (about 20 or so bands), RHCP, Robert Randolph, and the like...the only time I ever saw a fight at a concert was when I took my wife to see Shania Twain. Imagine that. Guess those country folk get a little overaggressive at times. Best overall concert I ever went to...well, the HFStivals were always good growing up, but probably the Phish show I saw in Greensboro, NC...right before one of their hiatus' Them boys give you your moneys worth.

Establishing solid eye contact w/ Scott Weilland @ the Velvet Revolver concert last year. I don't care what anybody says, he was looking right at ME!! Music didn't suck, either. :)
Or STP second row seats in '97. Local H opened 4 them & we hung out after the show.
Or when I screamed during a quiet moment @ Brian Setzer in '02 & he said "I love you too, sweetheart."

Well I am older than you and have been to a lot of concerts and seen a lot of bands, but the concert that sticks out the most in my memory was seeing Paul McCartney (before Linda died) years ago in Tempe. It was like seeing a living legend, history, a rock icon, all those drippy terms. He had been there, done that, and was still here.
Anyone out there know what I mean? I mean your Nirvana's,Blink182,Sublimes,Dave Matthews, etc., they come and go, but some dinosaur's aren't extinct yet.

I've been to countless rock concerts. I could'nt decide on one untill I read what avhac said. Frank Zappa and The Mothers Of Invention has to be one of my most memorable shows I've been to. It was a small venue..The Felt Forum..down stairs from Madison Square Gardens. He and his band were mezmorizing,(or was it the acid we droped?)

My Hubby and I have been seeing the Dave Matthews Band every year since we were 19 years old ... this coming here will be my 6th year, I think, 5 or 6 ... lost count. Anyway, best memory comes from one of those shows ... you'll have to guess what it was!!!

Neil Young and Crazy Horse. They invited a bunch of fans to stand at the edge of the stage during the entire show. That was an awesome night!!
