good answer kimmie...todays music does suck. I love music from the 70s and 80s and some music from the 90s. Todays music is awful, and if music continues to go downhill like it has been since the year 2000, i'll probably scream. It's just like MTV...what the heck happened there? I haven't watched that crap in years! It shouldn't even be called music television. I agree totally with all of you who think todays music sucks...cause it really does!

Not all music today sucks. As for older bands, I like Pink Floyd.

umm...sweetgirl, i don't care for your reply...i'm 26 years old and i would have to strongly agree that todays music does suck. Older songs are more appreciative and have better meaning. Todays music sucks so bad...all of it...26 years old is not old...i guess some people just don't know how to appreciate songs that actually have a meaning instead of all this crap they're putting out today.

It's all awful, todays music. MTV makes me sick.
My favorites are
The Cramps, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Richard Hell and The Velvet Underground.

the answer to y todays music sucks so much is easy.in the 60's,70's and 80's few children actualy bought music.there was a smaller market for it then as there is now.nowadays it dosent matter what the music sounds like if it premoted enough it'll sell and the biggest byers of music are children.i could mention hundreds of bands as my favorites so i wont go into it.depends on the mood im in.

Today's pop music and mainstream rock does indeed suck, but there are several great "indie" rock groups out there.

go back to the 60's rock era. now there's some good music. try some Eric Burden and the Animals
