I am making reference to Janet Jackson's Superbowl accident and Victoria Secrets show that will be on television soon.I fail to see why some people have trashed Janet but yet it's quite ok for models to parade around half nude.I could care less what any of them show or where they show it,all I am saying is let people live their lives the way they see fit .Also,accidents do happen and I think Janet needs an apology from lots of people.

To Pale Rider and 50's Cruiser,you s2 seem to forget that this fashion show is on primetime and maybe football is a family show,fashion show isn't.All I am saying is that some people made Janet's ordeal a BIG deal and everyday on PRIMETIME television we see half naked women all the time and I feel like if you gonna clean up one street,then clean them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fashion is a whole different world, where normal social rules and regulations are thrown out the window. =T
yes it is a bit of a double standard, but that's what it's about. little kids are not allowed to go to fashion shows, but they are allowed to watch football. parents don't like that the kids were watching commercials and half time and the boob popped out.
what i don't understand is this revulsion of the human body.... we all have them, why are we so against it? i understand keeping ourselves covered, but accidents to happen Yes, and we do have exceptions (such as fashion, etc). so i do agree the hype against janet was a little over the top, esp some lady who tried to SUE the network for being "traumatized"? i wonder if she should sue herself when she looks in a mirror...

Well, one thing is that the Superbowl was in primetime, meaning family viewing hour and two there was no taped delay. Yes it may have been an accident or a very slick publicity stunt!! Any way it goes, what happened was not in good taste, even if it was an accident. I agree with Pale Rider on this. Usually during a fashion show on the runway, only adults are there as prospective buyers and also publicity people. That is the difference. But on the other hand, if it was an accident, then get on the wardrobe department and justin timberlake not Janet. Just my two cents worth. Have a great day!!! two different things. If janet had paraded around in a bikini, no one would have thrown a fit. If one of the victoria secret models shows her entire breast, it will be the same as it was for Janet. Besides that, I don't think the Janet Jackson thing was an accident & parents can turn the channel or send their kids out of the room during the Victoria Secrets show & since it is not live (I think), if there are any "accidents" they will be edited out..

Ok personally I think the diffrence is the janet jackson thing was an accident and the other is to make money. In my opinion there both groose! YUCK!

Well, the superbowl is considered a family show. I for one, hope that my daughter don't think its ok to act like a skank and show her nipple just for attention.
