No way. It's easy - I do it.
Some people just don't have manners. It's totally nasty to eat with your mouth open.

Well, sometimes it may be difficult for people to chew with their mouths closed due to the fact that if they are in any way congested with a stuffy nose and can not breath out of it, then chewing with the mouth in the closed position may cause them to suffocate unless they swallow. It has happened to me, so I know. But, I do agree that it is a nasty habit to get into. So lets all try to chew with our mouths shut if possible...

I know how you feel. I hate people who don't chew w/ their mouth closed. It get's so annoying...
Especially when their eating ice and it's movie around against their teeth and their sucking on it.
Gives me the shivers.

lol Awesome question! I think it is one of the grossest things in the world to see. Who wants to witness your food factory hard @ work?! Why don't you just start talking fast too so you can spit some of that food our way?! Ewww. I wonder sometimes if they have a clue how nasty it is. People have to kiss that mouth! lol

I don't know, but I teach middle schoolers, and I tell my students that I only write them up for chewing gum if they are chewing it nasty and smacking. They look like cows chewing cud.
