At the moment it is dailymotion (http://www.dailymotion.com). I keep coming across amazing rock videos ranging from The Clash and Pink Floyd to Bruce Springsteen and beyond. I also keep finding complete TV programmes. I found a series based on the Blade movies, as well as a complete series of The Twilight Zone from the 1960s, neatly edited so there were no commercial breaks.

I love imdb.com. Not the front page with all the PR puffs but the listings for old films & TV programmes; cast, quotes, locations.
You can see someone in something on the TV and instead of it driving you mad what else you have seen them in, you can look it up. Love it!

stumbleupon.com
It's a toolbar you download onto your computer, you then fill out a profile of your interests like sports, music, movies, Internet, history, travel, etc on your homepage. When you click the "Stumble" button on the tool bar it takes you to random websites on the Internet that fits your profile.
it's incredibly addictive. You won't leave the computer

www.colelaw.net -then choose launcher. man, it has to see to be believed. You know when ppl recommend stuff and you half heartedly think " yeah, I'll look at that sometime...never"....?
If there is one site you DO go to - make it that.
I bet you after your first visit it'll be your homepage.
www.freecreed.com deserves a mention too, not a spectacular, but very handy....

I like play.com because I am rather obsessed with books and DVDs and it's a good site to work around and oh, their stuff is cheaper than in shops!
