I have two kids and never heard about the hotdog thing?? As far as the coke goes, any caffine could potentially be bad. If you have to question it, then you probably should'nt do it. I stuck to non caffine pops for the most part.

Make sure the hot dog is fully cooked and don't eat too many! Otherwise it's fine. Hot dogs, like a lot of food, isn't very nutritious and contains preservatives, so don't overdo it!

Drinking 2 - 3 cans of coke or other caffinated drinks is NOT good! Too much caffine can effect how your body absorbs calcium and you need a lot of calcium for the baby! Cut down to 1 a day, that should be ok.

Hot dogs are fine as long as they are cooked. I'm 9 months and I eat hotdogs every now and then. It's when they are cold that it's a problem, same with lunch meats. Def. cut back on the coke though. Try having 1 can a day and drink lots of water.

no hot dogs are safe to eat during pregnancy. it is not the healthiest but it will not harm your baby. i've been there. also drinking coke will not harm your baby. only 1 can of soda is recommended by doctors. i had at least 2 to 3 with my daughter and she is okay. and also with my other children i had tons of soda and they both turned out okay.

you shouldn't drink so much soda... it can make you dehydrated and that much caffeine and sodium isn't good for the baby. drink lots of water and juices.

A hotdog every now and then isn't so bad for you. they have lots of preservatives, so you shouldn't have them all the time. Also, if you can get good beef kosher hotdogs, they're probably better to eat than the regular hotdogs.

hope this helps!

the hotdog wont hurt you, but i would suggest cutting caffeine from your diet it is ok to have one once in a while but not 2-3 cans a day.
