no if you do not want to get married then why would you have the same rights a a married couple
because you live together and have a kid you think you have the same rights
i do not know what would possess someone to think they would it is wrong
yes i live with someone not married

This whole thing depends solely on the State or Province you live in or have been together in the most. Like in Ontario Yes you do (Canada) in the US it depends on the State. Morally Yes I would say so especially if there is a child involved. If not well then a piece of paper does not dictate what rights I should have but in the land you live in the LAW takes that into mind more then what is Morally right.

In Georgia- the "legal rights" of married are:

Loss of individual constitutional rights
Loss of rights to pursue tort charges
Federal and State tax penalties to file married/separate
Loss of property rights
Legally unable to testify against your spouse
Presumed to be "crazy" when you report his white collar crime
Legally presumed to have knowledge & access to his finances
Legally denied access to his "Private info" so you are BLIND to defend yourself when the rat is finally exposed

Now WHY would ANYONE sign up for this s hit?
