Jobs For Mexican Immigrants

2016-11-04 12:23:40 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Mexican immigrants do any jobs they can get their hands on. If they don't have their green card and are illegal then, they have no choice but to work in fields. Like tomato fields etc. They also pick weeds a lot and do tree jobs. Or maybe if they are lucky they will find a better job, but they are way under paid in their wages. Its really not their fault they just need to become legal to really get the job they deserve.

I tell you what type of jobs Mexican emigrants do. Mexican emigrants do those jobs the no body wants to do and some jobs that lost of us don't know how to do. For instance concrete work break and tile layering. For you info Mexicans emigrants help during Katrina pic up tearing down houses and picking up the debris all trout the coast and there are still helping with the reconstruction of the coast and much more the we don't give them credit for. So stop being so Darn Predigest. And they also want for their families the same thing that your emigrant an-sisters wanted wen they emigrate to America a better way of life, and by far they should be entailed to the same wraiths as the res of us if not more because this was there country before it became yours.

This is a generalization, but: In rural areas they work on farms. In urban areas they work in construction and landscaping. Also their women work as domestics in hotels and homes and are employed in fast food restaurants. Generally they are laborers, and will do just about anything. When I ride the bus they usually chat with each other (I understand Spanish) and compare jobs. One will say to the other, where do you work.. Oh, I have three jobs. Do you like your work.. No, its a bad job... etc. Then on pay day they get drunk and get arrested. Often the men will have families they left behind in Mexico and they will shack-up with another illegal immigrant they meet here. Strange thing is that they feel they have a right to be here and they think the USA should make changes to accommodate their language, culture and needs.

The wets work at high paying refinery jobs and in light industry. They take jobs in contruction and even in city services One was kiled in WTC (doing a high paying job Americans wouldn't?).
They are not all beet pickers and much of the farm industry is now automated (no cotton pickers int he fields).

The jobs that DON'T pay much.... Picking fruit, turnips, corn, etc. Growing/Processing chickens FOR TYSON mainly. Masonry, sheet rock, framing (construction in general). Landscaping, dirt work, asphalt laying.

They work ALLOT HARDER then most for the $1 of pay they receive. Plus, most don't have green cards so they aren't taxed. If you have 100 employees or more that sure does equal allot of money.

I think they have the same intention as the rest of us. They want to get something going on so they can support their family.
