You would be cool in my book but...
1)if you need a really tough defender to admire check out either Real's Roberto Carlos or Valencia's Ayala.They are tough but when it counts....and not in the unfair sense of the term...
2)I used to really like Buffon more than canavaro or materazzi (for the record I am an inter supporter) but after the scandals last year which heavily involved him I've changed my mind....
3)I think that a player should also have a good character as a role-model for the society and not only good performance at the field.This because they have a job which they choose because they loved it and were not forced by anybody.It is not the state that tells you that you should be a football player like it does with eg teachers.Because of that they should respect themselves more than they do....if you think that liking a player is only admiring his style you can put my moral-talk to the drawer...It depends on the angle from which someboy looks at the subject....

You can like both teams (and players) as long as they don't play each other. When they do, you have to make up your mind.
Cannavaro and Buffon, maybe; But I don't think you'd be a French Fan if you (really) like Materazzi.

i hope not just come over to the italian side its nicer here im sure cannavaro buffon materazzi etc if they r italian they r great and u should like them n be proud forza italia<3<3

Well I like Trezeguet and im still a die hard Italian fan!!
But anyways the Italian side is better.. just like what Trezeguet said we are nicer then the french side!

If you like the way Italian national teams usually play the I recomend you sit at home and watch paint dry, its more exciting. You can say the same for the french at the last world cup
