No, it is very good for you. I have diabetes and one of the recommendations is to wear socks to protect your feet. I also wear socks to bed after I have applied a moisturizer to my feet or even Vaseline because it helps soften your feet. Tight socks are not good but some socks that are loose and feel good are great for you. I buy those chenille type socks to bed that are warm and cozy, and also wear them like house shoes to keep my feet from getting cold.

Good question, thanks for asking. I hope I helped you. Remember, just no tight socks around your ankle area.

Sleeping Socks

I don't think it matters but not wearing any to bed gives your feet a chance to breathe a bit, especially during the winter when they're in socks and boots/shoes all day. I always sleep barefoot, I hate socks in bed.

It depends on your socks.

If your socks are really tight and especially if they have elastic or the like to hold them onto your feet, then yes, those socks may interfere with circulation while you're asleep... or perhaps even while you're awake. One good way to tell is if, when you take off your socks, you see an indentation on your skin from the socks. Not good.

If you wear looser socks, though, it's not really likely to cause a problem at all. It may even help if it keeps your feet warm.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I do not know what you heard or the source but wearing socks to bed is perfectly fine in general, for those with poor circulation, and for diabetics. Keep your socks on and your feet warm and do not believe everything you hear or read (other than this of course).

Wow, I hope not, because I have always worn socks to bed to keep my little tootsies warm. I would think having cold feet would be worse for circulation, but I am not doctor, just a person with cold feet. Wearing socks is also better for a relationship -- who wants to feel cold feet on your legs at night?
