i dont think there is one specific soul mate for each person i belive that some people are more suited to each other. i see it as more of a group of potential soul mates. and once you find them then that is who becomes your soul mate not so much that one is already chosen for you.

The concept of a soul-mate has been over-played. We have not one, but as many soul-mates as there are at a similar frequency of evolution and and/or essential content. And that soul-mate does not need to just click with us at a level of love as we know it, but at many other levels of compatible function and affinity such as in the sciences, the arts, etc. You will normally find these souls when you meet someone and don't have an explanation why your feelings towards each other (and not always in matters of love) have such depth and familiarity. We all have them, because in this ocean that is life, teeming with spirit, it is not possible for us not to transact with others of a kindred spirit.

Yes, but we're not likely to meet them on this Earth. We'll each be with our soul mates again on the other side.
That is not all to say that we don't have kindred spirits on Earth to help us along the way. We have many!

We are supposed to each have more than one, however, they might not live in OUR current lifetime. They could also be on the other side of the world. The hard part is finding them. I have a book that lists the birthdays of everyones soulmates. Called Birthdays, stars and numbers or something like that.

Yes I do believe we have soulmates, but in todays world I think sometimes our ego get in the way. We as people need to learn to compromise more.
