Yeah, that's weird. Why don't they rename Hannukuh or Kwanza? Why is it always good old fashioned tradition they have to try to be poitically correct about? It has worked for oh so many years people! Get over the politics and just enjoy it.

Christians should have the right to call their "holy" holidays anything they want and not have to apologize for it. Christmas is Christmas...there is no discrimination in that. However, by the same token, as a Christian, I believe that we should practice tolerance towards other religions and people of other faiths. We should be a accepting of Muslim, Jewish, African American Spirituality, etc. Holidays as well.
But please don't "bash" your Bishop, just tell him to be proud of Christian holidays and then tell him to wish someone "Happy Kwanzaa" or "Happy Hanukkah" =).
