I am stressed out a little and he is calm. Does do this for me?? Is he stressed a little bit on the inside?? I am 19 and recently lost my friend. She died and child birth and her b/f ditched her a week b4, so I didn't want to have a kid right now but my fiancee convinced me to keep it. We are rich(my parents and his both have a ton of money and gave us alot when they heard about the engagement and again when they heard bout the baby. We don't owe anything on our house.) I am just worried that something will go wrong.
Is he secretly scared/wondering how everything will turn out, but being strong for me??

I have asked him but he says he is okay with it all. He also knows I'm worried tho. Is that why he's soooooo calm?

Maybe he just isn't worried. Just because you are doesn't mean he should be. Be glad because of lot of young girls either get ditched or treated poorly when they tell their boyfriends/fiances they are pregnant. I'm sure you're more worried because of your friends but the chances of that happeneing to you as well are slim I'm sure. Try to relax. The stress isn't going to help you or the baby. Just be glad you have a man in your life who is supportive and not freaking out about an unexpected pregnancy.

Men show their feeling differently then woman. They internalize everything. When I got pregnant unexpectedly my fiance wasn't too worried. But when I had the baby 6 weeks early he was worried about everything once the baby was born. Some people worry about every little thing and others don't. Plus you have your hormones going crazy and he doesn't.

I dont think he's worried, of course I dont know him, but I am a guy and I know how I would think. I'm sure he is thinking "whats done is done so now I need to think about how to take care of my child and my wife". I wasnt worried when I found out I was having a baby, I was just thinking "ok, its time to make the best of it and be happy for the blessing".......besides, what is there to worry about? You are already pregnant, its time for you and him to be excited and talk about the future and how you will take care of the child....dont worry, it will all fall into place.
Congrats!!!

Most men just get protective and are strong about it because of one simple fact - THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO HAVE THE BABY. The pain, the worry, etc. etc. etc. They don't have to go through any of that. They just have to hear about it.
Women should be stressed out. Having a baby is a big deal and it changes everything. Unfortunately men don't get it like we do.

He is probably stressed as you , men just show it differently or let it out in ways that women do not.

Why should he be stressed? He's not the one with the loaf in the oven.
