chicken soup stories. The door?

I am looking for this story of a boy who was always angry and his father asked him to nail the door every time he fell negative. At one point, his father asked him to remove all nails and look at how the door was harmed. Does anyone have a link for this story online? Do you know what book it is from?

I searched for the exact story you were asking about, but I came up short I am sorry to say. I did, however, find this story that is very similar. In this story it is a fence and not a door, but the idea is the same. I hope this helps. Take care.
