Different race means a different texture of hair. African americans and africans have a ribbon like or a criss cross hair structure whereas some caucasians and most asians have an oval scalp structure thuus making the hair grow out straight...i am a black woman that loves my natural hair and my biological makeup so i like wearing it natural...however right now its straight...i used heat to make the strands straighten out
