a message comes up every time i restart my computer saying ur pc is not protected and u should verify subscripion.fine i did it and i choose not to renew my product but it keeps comin and is killin me...

Get it uninstalled and put in whatever anti-virus you want, chances are you will not hear from them again--if you do--put em on your blocker list.

Most anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are single licence software meaning you can only install it on one PC. Which requires you to register it. If you have to reinstall it it'll ask you to reverify your regristration so it knows your not running it on mutiple PCs or someone didn't steal your licence. Also everytime you connect to the internet (or boot up your PC if you have broadband) the software automatically connects to their servers and verifies the installation to ensure its not running on mutiple PCs. If your running it on mutiple PCs it'll deactivate one of the copies and it will ask you to reverify your subscription. when you do this it will then deactivate your other installation
