what would you do if your boyfriend told you after your 6 months relationship that he has a daughter turning 4 years old?
(he said he has to reveal the sercet he ever kept coz he is afraid I might know it from other people, and he wanted to be honest with me. after this moment, he said he wants to marry me next month. what should I do? should I believe him after all he kept that he has a daughter already? should I marry him? I love him so much its just that I am so confuse now. help!

I don't think it would be a good idea to rush into a marriage after you just found out that your boyfriend has been keeping a big secret like this. You need to figure out if you can trust him again and you both need to decide what role you guys are going to play in this child's life. Give it some time and talk about marriage later.

First off, you have only been together for six months so I really don't think you know each enough to start a marriage. The fact that he needed six months to decided to tell you about his daughter is prove that you relationship needs to mature a lot more for each of you to be sure that it will last. Don't take the news as a sign that the relationship should be over, but as a sign that the relationship is still at a very early state.

Get engaged but dont get married yet. I would wait at least another 6 months. The longer you know the person, the better it will work out for you in the long run. This will give you a chance to figure out if hes hiding anything more.

Would you have thought of him differently if he had told you from the beginning that he had a daughter? What would you have done? Would you have decided not to date him?
Maybe he just wanted you to get to know him before he tells you he has a daughter. Having a kid from a previous relationship can often change someone's views on that person. He probably wanted you to see him for the guy he is, and didn't want your view on him to be blinded by his daughter.
My advice is for you forget the daughter and think of him like you had before you knew. But let him know that next time to just tell him instead of waiting.

How he found time to focus on you without you having any kind of clue of his fatherhood...he's not very honest. It's a 'child' he denied even having!! However, you should find out all of the circumstances of why he kept this information from you. Give the relationship some more time and dont rush in to the marriage. If he loves you he can wait for you to understand him and why he hid having a child. Peace.

What kinda guy keeps his daughter a secret .. I would not marry him for sometime yet . Your children should be the most special thing you have, how could you not mention them. You couldnt trust this guy. How would you feel if your mum forgot to say she had you ... very suspisious... really think about comitting the rest of your life to a guy that will lie to you about his childs existance..

umm if i was you i would look into him and see how many lies he has and how much he has been keep sercet.. having a daughter is a big deal so yea um find out some stuff about him befor you even think about marrying him

i think getting married next month is a little early. If you get married you will have a family and you have to ask yourself if your ready for that. If you want to make a big commitment like that then go ahead but you have to take a step back and think about it. Dont jump into anything.

Why did he keep it a secret? I would definitely wait to marry him and find out about his daughter first. Have you met her? If so do you get along with her? Think first, he may be great for your heart but what about your head, if he kept this a secret from you what else could be a secret?

Truth is the foundation of a wonderful relationship. Your boyfriend maybe late in telling, but he did confess. Just image you were married and then learn about this. I think he deserve another chance. Ever heard of this saying, better late than never.
