I really want to play harder tennis because I love it. I also work and have 4 children at home. My oldest is going to Afgh. in January. Working in Oncology, it can be stressful and I need an oulet and to have fun? Am I kidding myself? The 2.5 seems too easy.

i'd say go for it..but just dont let it take over your life too much to the point where its one of your top priorities and you dont get to spend more valuable time with your kids and wife..if i were you, i'd take them along with me and maybe get them some lessons ..my sister and mom would play tennis every weekend for almost 4 years while my younger sister and i had nothing to do, so my mom would bring our bikes and snacks so we wouldnt be bored..i would suggest doing this if you wanna keep an on your kids while being able to play tennis at the same time

If you are playing seven hours a week you will not be a 2.5 for very long. You obviously are a smart guy who knows how to work hard and that is more then enough to get to the next level. I hope your youngest stays safe.
