I had the same problem. Just leave everything open when you go to work or go to sleep. You'll never get anything if you sit there and watch it. Give it a few hours to allow you to work up the que lists and you'll be amazed at what you finally get.

Be sure you are sharing a few things (non copyrighted of course) to improve your points ranking as well.)

There are two basic possibilities here.
First, the file you selected may not be shared by many (or any) other users right now. Make sure you're on a server with a ton of other users (Donkey Server No1, Donkey Server No3), and make sure you're downloading the version of the file being shared by the most people (when you search for the file, click the column header reading Availability, sorting the results so that the highest number is at the top).
Second, you may have a low ID. This means your router or other network equipment is "protecting" you from peer-to-peer connections. If any of the little icons in the lower right corner of eMule (an arrow, I believe) is yellow, then that's your problem. The eMule website has ways of bypassing certain routers via port forwarding, but it's easier to just set your computer as your router's DMZ. This makes it slightly more vulnerable to hackers, but you'll never have to go through this again.

Hey,
You can download Emule for free here http://bitly.com/1rmspzT

To use eMule, just connect to a server or the Kad network, search for the file you want to download, and wait for the download to complete. It is surely the best free open source P2P client.
It's surely the leader program of its type

Don't worry. Nothing's going to happen. Truth is they don't have time to mess with people like you whoa accidentally download I few illegal pictures, even if they wanted to. The people who get busted typically have huge collections. But to make you feel a little safer, use these steps to make sure the files are gone forever: Hold the Windows key and press R. Type cmd and press Enter. Now type cipher /w:c and press Enter. (Note: This command takes a long time to run. You might want to do it overnight.)
