My nephews birthday is next week and being so close to X-mas, he gets so many toys that half of them never get played with and are eventually given away (literally still in their boxes). What should I get him that isn't a toy and that he'll like???

How about something arts and craft? Kids love to get there hand messy and do craft. That or give him cookies and hot coco. My birthday Next saturday and My parent had the same problem when I was a kid so they would buy me stuff animals something new for my room books or something for outside. Also clothing is a good way to go.

You can get him art things. They make color wonder stuff by crayola that only writes on the paper. They make markers, paint and other stuff, if he likes to color. A savings bond is a good idea too with a small token gift for him to open, If he has a favorite character, get him some shirts with that character on it. Does he watch movies? Picture/learning books are always good. My kids always loved them and it helps to teach numbers, colors and letters. I know what you mean, both of my kids birthday's are right before Christmas. They get a lot of stuff.

How about a library card? I know he's only 3, but start early! Most libraries have crafts and story times and such. (a great gift for mom and dad too! lol)

Get a big box and make a fort with it. At that age, that's all they'll play the most with anyways

Yikes! You can get him an outdoor gift so he can play outside one time. You could get him an outdoor house, and he would play that outside or inside.

Take him somewhere. He may be a little young for a movie, but you could maybe take him to a zoo or a children's museum if there's one around.

Skip it. He's only 3, he won't remember.
