Yeah, Dark Phoenix is like the mutant equivalent of a nuclear bomb (no one survives her, except maybe Apocalypse, and he's immortal). Storm could not take her by herself, even with her weather manipulating powers. The only way Storm could ever defeat Dark Phoenix is if she had some serious backup from her fellow mutants, and even then it would most likely take an entire army of mutants to take her down (I'm talking X-men, Morlocks, Brotherhood of Mutants, and every other mutant team out there teaming up, just to beat one person. scary).

Considering Dark Phoenix was more than a match for the entire X-Men team, and was only defeated when she destroyed herself, I'd have to say Dark Phoenix would win.

people seem to give storm too much credit... weather can be devastating, but come on, phoenix was a bad *****... not sure anyone in marvel would do well against her... although a silver surfer/phoenix match might be interesting...

dark pheonix, very few marvel characters approach that level of power. Storm is not in the silver surfer level of power. Unless of course she could promise sex favors to jean to get her to calm down then kill her while jean slept.
