I don't know about the guys, but I think boy shorts are sexy. And they cover up just enough. Thongs are fine, but you want a little intrigue right? (although I suppose if you are already down to your undies, intrigue goes right out the door.)

I think (if it looks right you know no cellulite) boy shorts from Victoria's secret looks sexy on a normal person. of course I'm a women and I'm not gay but i have seen many women in their undies and the boy shorts are sexier. and more comfortable.
