We have everything covered in ice here in the St. louis,Mo. area due to overnight freezing rain. I live on a very steep street and when I went outside to get my morning paper I heard screaming and looked up to see an elderly lady (about 80 years old) on here back ,legs in the air ,a look of terror on her face, and coming down the street at probably 20mph .That poor woman went a full 4 city blocks before hitting some bushs. Was I wrong for falling down laughing ?Should I of lassoed her as she slide be?

That "jumped her like a sled" answer was so damn funny...and does that 70 yr. old woman really think you're serious or is she just pissed because she thinks you're making fun of the elderly. What the heck now!

Yeah, dude, I can't wait until this happens to you! Of course, since I'm in my 70's, you will undoubtedly outlive me, maybe, unless you die laughing at other people. I live in Tulsa, OK, and the snow outside my building is so deep my daughter, (5'4"), fell in it up to her waist. Did I laugh? Heck yes. But so did she. She wasn't screaming from fright because she was on her back like a helpless turtle. Did you even go check to see if the woman was dead or alive, injured or conscious? Call someone for help, or just laugh?!?!?

I think you should hall the TBS laugh line...don't worry I'm sure they'll as it's funny and you could laugh but not that much....pity you didn't getting for American Funniest Videos than you could have made some bucks.

yes, i just saw on the news that you have bad weather there now. maybe you could have helped her WHILE laughing? or dove first on your belly, penguin style in a race to catch her and at least braced her for the worst? maybe you could have laughed together while embracing each other in the (possibly last) ride of your lives! uh, u did go check on her, right?

You should have jumped on her like a sled and road her down the hill. 20 mph is a pretty good clip, it would have been fun.

That is the best laugh I have gotten in weeks. Thanks!! Picturing her made me giggle, picturing you on the ground made it even better. I am not sure I would have done anything either, just laugh, maybe went and got my camera. jk =)
