I absolutely adore Joaquin Phoenix. Although he isn't handsome in the traditional, perfect-featured way that many actors are, there is something very sexy about him. I think it has a lot to do with his eyes. He's definitely sexy--- especially in Ladder 49.

He's hot because he's not your average pretty boy like Josh Duhamel, who is just smoking but his acting is just not all that. Phoenix can do it all, comedy, drama, weird movies just everything and that's what makes him hot.

i don't know about hot in traditonal hot sense -- he has a unique charm and charisma. he comes off more human than a freak actor that is more traditionally hot like the freak show named tom cruise. human is better i think.
